- Wash & clean the carrot. Trim the edges and peel the skin. Now grate them to shreds..
- Heat a big non stick vessel or pan and put the shredded carrot, add milk and let it start boiling.
- Let it cook for over 45 mins on low flame and add the mix dry fruits before the milk completely dries off.. keep stirring.
- Once the milk has almost dried, add ghee and start stirring the halwa and let it fry until it changes colour.
- Now add khoya and keep stirring.
- Lastly add sugar and zafraan, keep stirring until you see the ghee on the sides of the pan..
- Garnish with khoya & nuts and serve.
