Samosa in momo style step by step

  1. For potato stuffing take 3 to 4 boiled potatoes and roughly mash them..
  2. Now in a pan add 2 tbsp of oil,after heating up add cumin seeds and heeng then boiled and mashed potatoes....
  3. Now add haldi powder,cumin powder,salt,red chilli powder,garam masala and Amchoor powder,green chillies and mix well.keep it on flame for 5 to 7 mins..
  4. After that switch off the flame sprinkle some coriander leaves and mix well.keep it aside to cool down completely...
  5. Now in a bowl add maida and 2 tbsp wheat flour in that add carom seeds,salt and ghee mix well..it should hold a shape with the water make a tight dough and cover it keep it aside for 15 mins...
  6. Now make balls from the dough and start rolling it like poori..
  7. Then take it out at your palm and keep 1 full tbsp of potatoes stuffing upon that and close it from another side applying water like gujiya shape..
  8. Now apply water at the corners too and paste from one corner to another corner gently..so it will be in the shape of momos..
  9. Keep a pan with oil on medium flame and start fry them untill nice golden brown in colour...
  10. Take them out in tissue paper and serve hot with green coriander chutney or tomato ketchup and enjoy your festival of Holi in fullest..
